So I was browsing around the Internet today, looking for some good generic pictures of white-water rafting, and I found something pretty sweet: an online album that contains some action shots from our 2008 Freshman Rafting Trip! I guess the rafting company posted the pictures they took of us to Shutterfly, which means that if you want to buy a print of yourself getting owned by a wave, you totally can…
Anyways, the pictures of our group start here, and if you click through the photos, you’ll be able to see different boats full of this year’s freshman class. Check out Jessi B.’s face on this one (and what happens to the boat afterwards…haha). Cam’s got pretty good posture in this shot…

KNOW THIS…
What is the Real Retreat? We like to think of it as almost an anti-retreat. That means that there are not a lot of games. It’s a more serious time for the student who is interested in growing in his or her relationship with Jesus Christ.
The theme for the Real Retreat this year is crazy love. The idea comes from a book written by Francis Chan, who is a pastor in California. In his writing, Chan talks about how a proper understanding of God’s amazing love for us ought to trigger in us a radical love for God. Over the course of the retreat, we’ll examine this principle and examine our own hearts, looking at why we so often respond to the incredible story of Jesus with nothing more than apathy and complacency…and miss out on a dynamic relationship with God.
BE HERE…
Be at the Warehouse at 4/17 at 6:15pm for dinner together then we’ll head to Camp Burton. Returning to the Warehouse on 4/18 at 6:30pm
BRING THIS…
Bring Bible, sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, toiletries and warm clothes.

So, as it turns out, I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer… I thought today was Wednesday and that I didn’t have to wake up until 8am, meaning that I totally missed Solon’s Coffee Connection this morning (3/17). I apologize for any inconvenience that this caused you or your family.
As a result, we’re going to have another Solon Coffee Connection this month. We’ll meet at 7am at Arabica on Tuesday, March 31…and if you come, to make up for my mistake, I’ll buy you your coffee!

It’s the greatest time of the year again…spring is around the corner, and more importantly, the NCAA Tournament is about to begin! Think you can guess how the men’s bracket is going to play out? This Saturday, March 14th, we’re going to be heading up to the city of Cleveland for a service project. We’ll be partnering with the Cleveland City Mission, which is an organization that seeks to provide help and hope to all people through the transforming power of God’s love, focusing particularly on those in need in urban Cleveland. We’ll be meeting at the Warehouse at 8:45am and then carpooling to the City Mission headquarters, where we’ll help them organize and sort their inventory of donated goods for about 3 hours. Afterwards, we’ll hit up some lunch on the way back, returning to the WH around 2:00pm. It’s a great opportunity for us to serve Christ by serving other people, and have some fun in the process. Hope to see you there!

So, we had a little fun with the video camera on the tubing hills at Seven Springs, and we now have some competition for how the video should end. Check out the alternate endings and post a reply to vote on which one is best!
