Real Retreat 2009!
KNOW THIS…
What is the Real Retreat? We like to think of it as almost an anti-retreat. That means that there are not a lot of games. It’s a more serious time for the student who is interested in growing in his or her relationship with Jesus Christ.
The theme for the Real Retreat this year is crazy love. The idea comes from a book written by Francis Chan, who is a pastor in California. In his writing, Chan talks about how a proper understanding of God’s amazing love for us ought to trigger in us a radical love for God. Over the course of the retreat, we’ll examine this principle and examine our own hearts, looking at why we so often respond to the incredible story of Jesus with nothing more than apathy and complacency…and miss out on a dynamic relationship with God.
BE HERE…
Be at the Warehouse at 4/17 at 6:15pm for dinner together then we’ll head to Camp Burton. Returning to the Warehouse on 4/18 at 6:30pm
BRING THIS…
Bring Bible, sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, toiletries and warm clothes.

Just checking on the Real Retreat dates…it is not on the event calendar..does not come up under April 09 events but the description say 4/17 and 4/18….is that correct?
and is there a cost?
