Summer 2009: rewire!
Some of you have asked if we are taking any trips or retreats this summer, and I can finally announce to you that we are going to be heading to downtown Chicago during the week of July 6-11th for a conference called rewire! While we’re there, we’ll have an opportunity to meet other high school students from across the country, learn how to better share our faith, and of course, explore the city a little bit.
From past experience with the organization (SEMP Classic) that is sponsoring the conference, I really believe that it will be a great time of fun and growth, and I’m hopeful that you can make it. The trip is open to current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors and costs $439.00. I realize that this is a lot of money, but if funds are a problem for you, contact me, as scholarships are available.
If you are interested, you need to register by April 30th, and turn in a $50 deposit. There are only 25 spots for students, and they will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, so sign-up soon.
