Pray for evangelistic opportunities for the team and the local pastors as we work. Pray that people would ask questions of why we are there.
(Matt. 5:14-16)
Hi!
I just learned about this website. What a joy it is to read about your experiences and also make connections with what I know about aome of the “authors” of each day’s entry.
I visited SRBC on Sunday to hear Eloy Gonzalez (GNK leader) preach his first sermon. He chose Phil 2:1-5 as his text. He did a great job. I was especially captured by the attention he paid to Christ’s choices:
He chose to humble Himself, He chose to be a bond-servant, and He chose to be obedient to His Father. God in His sovereignty allowed Him to make these choices as a man. That says to me that with God’s enabling, those choices are possible for each one of us to make as we imitate Christ! Each of you ARE making those choices RIGHT NOW!
I have been and will continue to be praying!
In Him with you,
“Miss Jean”
Hi!
We are enjoying this high tech correspondence with the team. We are very encouraged to hear about their experience and remain prayerful for each team member, their work, and their families back home in NE Ohio. Has anyone heard if they made it to the mountain villages today?
