In two weeks, rather than having a standard Student Impact, we’ll be loading up the Precious Cargo buses and heading to Progressive Field to catch an Indians’ Game. Since the Indians are traveling a lot in the month of August, we’ll be heading to a game on a Wednesday (August 12) this year. Whether they still have Victor Martinez and Cliff Lee or not, it still should be a lot of fun, especially since the trip includes an all-you-can-eat buffet before and during the game.
The cost of the trip is $32 and we’ll be leaving from the Warehouse at 5pm. If you are interested in going, download the flyer, fill it out and send it in to Caitie by August 9. There are only a limited number of spots, so sign up soon! Please note there won’t be SI on the 13th.
If you’ve been paying attention to the calendar, you’ll notice that we have something called the Mud Bowl scheduled for August 1st. However, due to a number of reasons, we’re not going to be able to pull it off this year. We’ll think about revisiting it in 2010 though!
