Bolivia Day 2

Day 2: Woke up to beautiful, sunny weather. That´s always a treat when you live in NE Ohio!! Started the day off with team devotions led by Amy and a look at God´s heart for the nations (Gen. 12:1-3, Psalm 67 and Rev. 7:9-10). It´s great to align our hearts with God´s heart as we begin this missions trip! This was followed by meeting up with Kathy Maenner and the team in Bolivia to educate us on Bolivian culture. Since we were all feeling pretty good (i.e., no altitude sickness), it was a shopping day. We had fun looking at all the Bolivian souvenirs and a lot of bolivianos were spent by the team! We capped the evening off playing games (Settlers of Catan is really popular here too!) and eating pizza with other Bolivian teenagers. Now it´s off to bed grateful to the Lord for His goodness. In the morning, we´ll be worshipping at Kep James´church and then taking the 3-hour journey to Camp Yungas. We won´t have Internet access down there, but will post something when we return on Thursday!
