I just heard that it is supposed to snow like crazy in the next 24 hours, so I wanted to put up a quick post to remind you to check this website to see whether or not we have Student Impact or some other type of event. If the weather gets really nasty (snow day?) and I decide to cancel, I will post something up here to that effect. If, however, you don’t see anything on this site, we are still on. In other words, assume we are meeting unless you read something up here that tells you otherwise.
Another way to find out if an event has been canceled is to sign up for Twitter, an online service that will send you a text message when an update is posted. Thanks!
Thanks Kyle J. for being the first to Make Some Noise! He uploaded the pic that is now posted at the top of the home page for Picture of the Week…I liked it and posted it up. You too can have your pictures or thoughts posted. Obviously, we can’t put up everything but if you got something good send it over.
What do you think? We have spent a lot of time planning this out with you in mind. I’m sure by now that you have noticed that there are a ton of places for your pics to be posted…so send us your best ones.
One of the main features of the site is our blog called “the noise”. I post my thoughts, quotes, event information and stuff from you. That’s right, you can make your own noise too. Send me a poem, something that has been kicking around in your brain, a music review or anything else that you can think of and it might just end up online. So don’t be lame, cruise around, leave a comment and stop back often!
