Student Ministry Team
The purpose of the SMT is to make a spiritual difference in the lives of other high school students by strengthening believers in Christ and exposing unbelievers to Christ.
Expectations of a SMT member:
1. Be spiritually prepared: quiet time, prayer, faithful involvement in Student Life groups, Student Impact, Student Body, activities, retreats, and Parkside Church.
2. Set an example for others: enthusiasm, listen to the word, involved in prayer, cooperation and participation.
3. Display a willing heart: evangelism, growth, serving, faithful, available, teachable and a concern for the whole group.
4. Involved in others lives: building friendships through:
A. Contacting - spending quality time with others.
B. Challenging - encourage others to grow in their
relationship with Christ.
5. Service to the ministry: planning, set up, cleanup, tear down and help.
6. Involvement in SMT meetings to become better equipped for ministry.
